1. Who are we?

Firearms International is a family and women-operated business based in Honolulu, Hawaii. We are a nationwide wholesaler of firearms and ammunition. In addition to this, we are the only international firearms and ammunition importer in Hawaii.

2. Do we have a physical gun store?

Yes, we do. Our store location is 1150N Nimitz Hwy. Store #8, Honolulu, HI 96817. Click to see Google maps

3. Can I walk in and buy firearms and ammo?

Yes, you can and you can go online and make a purchase at your convenience. If you are in a rush because it's Saturday and you need ammo for range, let us know and we will accommodate in-store pick-up for you.

4. How can I place an order online?

Visit our website and select the desired category. Please make sure to check off Available In-Store Today under Filter Products on the left. This will show you what products we have on hand in the store available for same day pick up. 

Next step is to choose desired firearms or ammo and the quantity. Proceed to checkout and choose store pick-up. Once your order is paid and placed, items purchased will be secured and waiting for your pick-up. We will contact you to arrange your pick-up time. Simple.

If you purchase items that need to be shipped from our mainland warehouse, we will inform you when the item arrives so you can pick it up. 

5. Should I choose in-store pick-up or ship to FFL at my online checkout?

Please choose in-store pick up to avoid shipping charges. Firearms pick-up will be in-store only unless you are buying out of state. Ammo can not be shipped, unless you are buying larger quantities. Please contact us to receive quote and shipping info.

6. Once I purchase my item online, how do I know when to pick it up?

Once you place the order, you will be contacted within 12hrs via text or email and asked to book a convenient time for your order pick-up.

7. Can I pay cash for my order?

Yes, In-store purchases can be cash or credit card.

8. Can I use Firearms International, LLC for my FFL transfer, and how much does it cost?

Yes, you can use Firearms International, LLC for FFL transfers.

Before you make your purchase please let us try to price-match your online order. If we can, you can purchase firearms from us.

For existing customers, the FFL transfer fee is waived for one FFL transfer per year (one firearm is one FFL). Customer needs to be a paying customer in the same year when FFL transfer is happening.

The FFL fee is $59.99 per item. If handgun magazine blocking is needed, it will be charged $14.99 per magazine.

*SUPER IMPORTANT: IF YOU DON'T PICK UP YOUR FFL TRANSFER WITHIN 30 DAYS FROM THE MOMENT WE RECEIVE IT, WE WILL ASSES STORAGE FEE OF $100 PER MONTH. ONCE THE OUTSTANDING STORAGE FEE BECOMES GREATER THAN THE VALUE OF THE FIREARM, WE WILL TAKE POSSESSION OF THE FIREARM AND SELL IT TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

9. I don't see the caliber of ammo I use, what should I do?

If you don't see your caliber in our store, email us and we will put it on the waitlist, and make an effort to include your caliber with our next inventory order. Our email is: info@firearmsinternational.us

10. Do you ship to neighboring islands?

As of now, we are only able to ship larger quantities and case sizes. The minimum shipment is 5 cases. The shipping cost is $250 per pallet.

11. Do you offer LEO, military, first responders and veterans discount pricing?

Firearms International, LLC, proudly supports LEO, military personnel, first responders, and veterans. LEOs, first responders military personnel and veterans have a flat 5% discount on ammo, firearms, optics, amd accessories. Contact us for online code if you are making online purchase.

12. I really don't have any questions but I want to talk to someone, what should I do?

That is ok, we can always chat about something guns and ammo related :-)

13. What are your hours of operation?

Our online store is open 24h, 7 days a week. The store is open Monday through Friday 8:30 am-6:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.

14. If I purchase a handgun online, will you provide serial no., etc for my application permit to acquire? Or do I need to go down to the store?

Once your purchase is made and a firearm is available for pickup, we will email you a receipt with the serial number. There will be no need for you to make a trip to the store for firearm info.

15. Does Firearms Internationa have a range?

YES, Firearms International features a modern indoor shooting range with two lanes. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art HVAC technology designed to ensure the safety and comfort of our shooters, with a focus on lead-free environments. We maintain a rigorous bi-weekly schedule for HVAC filter replacements and conduct daily cleaning to eliminate gun powder residue.

16. What is the cost to use range and do you need to be VIP-member to use it?

You don't have to be a member to access our shooting range. Non-members are welcome to use the range anytime on a first-come, first-served basis.

Here are our range fees:

  • $1 per minute
  • Bring your own ammo*
  • Ammo available for purchase, starting at $18.99 for 9mm 115
  • Rental guns are available
  • Eye and ear protection can be rented
  • *($19.99 ammo corkage fee applies) one fee per visit

17. Do you offer memberships and what are the benefits?

18. Do you offer Basic Safety Class, prerequirement for handgun/longun permit?

The Firearms International Academy provides The Basic Safety Course, sanctioned by the Honolulu Police Department. It serves as a necessary requirement for those pursuing handgun and long gun permits. Designed to comply with the updated regulations of 2024, this course integrates vital topics such as Suicide Prevention and Mental Health alongside extensive firearm safety instruction. The class fee is $199.99 and covers ammunition, targets, eye and ear protection, as well as range time.

19. How do I get Basic Safety Class, prerequirement for handgun/longun permit for FREE?

Starting January 18, 2024, Firearms International offers the Basic Safety Class at no cost with the purchase of a firearm. This course is essential for those seeking a handgun or long gun permit. To avail of this $200 value offer, you must buy a firearm either in-store or through our online store. Please be aware that FFL transfers, firearm receivers, and price-matched firearms are not eligible for this promotion. Moreover, this benefit is transferable only to parents, siblings, children, and legal spouses. It's important to note that while the class itself is complimentary, ammunition must be purchased separately from our shop before the class begins.

20. What is Firearms International Training Academy?

Firearms International Training Academy, located at 1150 N Nimitz Hwy. #5, serves as our dedicated training center offering NRA (National Rifle Association) approved classes led by certified, in-house instructors. By establishing this academy, we have created a supportive and inclusive environment addressing potential barriers and concerns among Hawaii residents regarding firearms ownership and usage. Our specialized training programs cater to both men and women, aiming to build confidence, impart essential safety skills, and empower female customers. 21. What classes Firearms International Training Academy is offering?

Currently, Firearms International Training Academy offers a variety of classes tailored to meet different training needs:

1. Hawaii Basic Safety Class - a prerequisite for firearm permit requests.
2. NRA Basic Pistol Shooting.
3. NRA Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW).
4. NRA Basic Rifle Shooting.
5. NRA Personal Protection inside the Home.
6. NRA Personal Protection outside the Home.
7. NRA Range Safety Officer.
8. NRA Refuse to be a Victim.

Each course is designed to provide comprehensive instruction and certification under the guidance of our NRA-certified instructors. 22. Does Firearms International Training Academy certifies other instructors?

Yes, Firearms International Training Academy does certify other instructors. Several times a year, in collaboration with NRA counselors and coaches, we organize NRA Instructor Certification classes.
